In the Software Development Life Cycle, software testing is the most important stage. The report states that the tested software undergoes several stages, including test preparation, test execution, testing analysis, problem reporting and tracking, and bug fixing. Many studies have been conducted in the past to optimize the testing process in general to enhance software quality as soon as possible. Software testing is the process of running a program to find software defects (errors or other issues). Testing can analyse the software product to evaluate its characteristics and identify any differences between the recommended and actual conditions. Software testing helps decrease errors and reduces software costs. This paper gives the overview of various software testing methods.
